As the treatment begins, patients feel gentle contraction that intensify as the intesity increases. The sensation is not painful but can be intense depending on your treatment goals. The results are even, consistent, and tolerable. The BodyTone treatment is non-invasive and patients can resume normal activities immediately after the treatment.
We recommend that patients undergo 2 treatments per week for 3 weeks, for a total of 6 treatments. Ongoing maintenance treatments are recommended for continued muscle strength and definition.
No, there should be no downtime from the treatment. Most patients go about their day right after a BodySculp session. You’re encouraged to drink plenty of water and massage the treated areas gently in the 24-36 hours following treatment. Otherwise, you have no restrictions on activity.
Good candidates for BodyTone include men and women who want to shape, firm, and tone their muscles. The procedure does not induce weight loss and works best for patients who have already reached a healthy weight.
People who exercise regularly and have a healthy diet but are unable to get rid of stubborn fat are good candidates for BodySculp treatments. Overall good health and a BMI of 30 or lower are characteristics of ideal candidates.
